International Congress on Business Education to Support Countries’ Competitiveness

The International Congress on Business Education to Support Country's Competitiveness will be held on 26-28 April 2007 in the Alatau Hotel, Almaty, Kazakhstan. The Congress is co-organized by CEEMAN - Central and East European Management Development Association, RABE – Russian Association for Business education; CAMAN – Central Asian Foundation for Management Development; and REGENA – Regional Education Network Association, with CAMAN and REGENA being the host institutions.
The International Congress will focus on how business education can contribute to the transitional and dynamically changing countries, particularly in Central Asia, to build and sustain their competitiveness through the increasing international business cooperation.
Prominent speakers including deans and directors of business schools, presidents of national, regional, and major international management development associations in the world, business leaders, and governmental officials from the countries of Central Asia will provide their thoughts and ideas and inspire discussion on the critical issues related to the role of business education in improving countries’ competitiveness. In this context, a particular emphasis will be given on the opportunities to create:
- Challenges and opportunities for international business cooperation in Central Asia and on the European/Asian interface
- Synergies between business schools and businesses
- Synergies between management development institutions
- Synergies between national, regional and international management development associations and networks
An integral part of the event will be the Seminar on CEEMAN Accreditation, which is designed to address the main objectives and benefits that management development institutions and their stakeholders could achieve through a process which introduces international standards, promotes a continuous self-improvement institutional philosophy and practices, and provides internationally recognized marketing tool.
We are kindly inviting business schools deans and directors, particularly members of RABE, CEEMAN, BMDA, CAMAN, REGENA, efmd, AACSB, AMDISA , as well as business leaders who are interested in the international business and management development in Central Asia to taker part in this important event.
