Dear colleagues!

Central Asian Foundation for Management Development has strategic objectives - to serve business educational community in the region of Central Asia and strengthen international cooperation with western partners on the basis of mutual interests and positive experience exchange in business education management. In this connection, we think that one of the most important priorities of CAMAN's activities is to timely provide information about forthcoming international events in business education.

In CAMAN's electronic message dated from March 30 and April 3, 2006, we underlined that at this stage we have established active correspondence with the international organizations. So, after corresponding with CEEMAN or Central and East European Association of Management Development which was founded in 1993, we got to know about forthcoming international events. Forthcoming CEEMAN's events:

• IMTA 2006 (International Management Teachers Academy) Conference, which will take place on June 4-6, 2006 in Bled, Slovenia. This year there will be four sections: Strategy, Marketing, Finance, Leadership and Change Management. Prof. Milenko Gudich, IMTA Director, and Olga Veligurska, CEEMAN Coordinator with whom we are in active correspondence ask CAMAN members to participate more actively in this event.
• On August 27-31, 2006 there will be CEEMAN seminar on method of Adizhes who is a top business consultant.
• The 14th CEEMAN Annual Conference on Strengthening of Interaction between Business Schools and Business will take place on September 28-30, 2006, Berlin, Germany.
• Prof. Milenko Gudich informed us that within the framework of 14th CEEMAN Annual Conference there will be a competition on the best PhD research work or Emerald&CEEMAN Award in the field of business education with the encouragement prize at the amount of 1 500 euro, and also CEEMAN Case Writing Competition. САМАN calls its members to take an active participation in this Competition!!!
