About Us
The Central Asian Foundation for Management Development (CAMAN) is a public non-governmental organization of international character and a non-for-profit association of educational institutions, business organizations and professionals in the management development field of Central Asia. CAMAN is an open and accessible body. It was established in April 1994 by the participants of the international conference "International Cooperation in Business Education: World Experience and Central Asian Challenge".
The Mission of CAMAN
Overall promotion of management development and management education development and improvement in the Central Asian region.
Objectives of CAMAN
- Establish and provide a management development network in the region and improve the quality of management development in Central Asia.
- Integrate the Central Asian system of management development into the world system by developing international links with appropriate associations, organizations and individuals.
- Incorporate and distribute international standards, approaches and content in management education among educational professionals throughout Central Asia.
- To forester a common understanding of quality among Central Asian institutions of management education and create the regional and international quality label entitled "CAMAN Accreditation System".
- Promote excellence in management and management education both nationally and internationally through conferences, specific training events, "CAMAN Gerald" publications, etc.
- Reinforce cooperation between business and educational institutions dealing with professional training for enterprises and organizations.
- Enhance the profiles of professions in management and management teaching both nationally and internationally.
